أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لاَمَّةٍ

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاء
Transliteration: Rabbi hab li min ladunka dhurriyyatan t’ayyibah innaka samee’-ud-du’a’aa
Translation: “My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication.” (Qur’an, Surah Al-Imran, 3:38)

اللهم أنت ربي لا إله إلا أنت خلقتني وأنا عبدك وأنا على عهدك ووعدك ما استطعت أعوذ بك من شر ما صنعت أبوء لك بنعمتك علي وأبوء بذنبي فاغفر لي فإنه لا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت
Through this dua, a servant humbly admits their sins, recognizing that none but Allah can forgive. It is a way of reaffirming one’s promise to stay away from shirk and hold firm to Islam.
